Hebrew translation (PDF)

According to Idelsohn, this song was published in Ben-Ami's anthology of songs but, in fact, it is not included in that work.

Ba-boker” is a paean to nature. One morning, the singer goes to the mountains and takes in the world around him: the valleys, wind, dew, fields, wheat, shepherds, flocks – all of which prompt him to sing and pray.

The composer, who is otherwise unidentified, is listed is “M. Blinki.”  The melody is in a major key.
