The text of this song was published in Ha-Zamir (Odessa, 1903: pp. 38-39). A different melody was published in Ta'ame Zimra le Shire' Ha-Zami' (Warsaw, 1904: pp. 44-45), composed by Cantor Pinchas Minkowsky from Odessa.

“Ha-tfila” praises God, who created the stars, birds, flowers, plants, and trees. All children, the song concludes, should thus pray to God.

Idelsohn (Ben-Yehuda) composed a melody for two voices (in parallel third), in a minor key.
